Day 279 - Orange

Happy Halloween! Took this at Central Market from my iPhone this afternoon in response to the Daily Shoot Prompt, "The color of the day is orange. Make a photograph that is full of orange today. "

Day 278 - A "Quieter" Mayfield Park

It is a beautiful Saturday.  The morning was cool and great for a run.  However, I could not head back to housework just yet, so I took my camera to Mayfield Park, one of my favorite places.  Gone were the water lilies, the Koa, the turtles, and most of the aquatic plants.  But, I was delightfully surprised to find a garden area with lots of butterflies and bees.  So put on that "macro" lens and took a few shots.  Really looking forward to my new camera.  I think it will have some great features that can keep up with the lens I have.

Day 277 - Swim Fast, Jaguar!

Love those Jaguars! Shot the top picture using a new Bokeh kit I got against some purple minilights. Just a few shots in the early morning.  I am looking forward to trying some more of this!

 I also shot some pictures of the Knights today as well.  Here is a favorite close-up photo of one of those swimmers.

Today, I did not have my camera as my daughter needed it to take pictures for the sports section of the newspaper and yearbook.  So, today, this picture is from my camera taken by my daughter of one of her best friends in the water.

Day 265 - Milestones

One hundred days to go.  I want  a new camera so bad, however I can't discount the camera that got me loving this hobby so much.  Today, I just have to thank my D60 for the journey so far!
