Friday Evening Reflections
I had a great quiet evening with good food and family after a busy week, then spent an hour at the pond with my camera to take some pictures for my "weekly challenge" (see my "Just Shoot Me" blog), but decided this was my favorite picture of the night.  Nothing to do with the challenges, but who cares.  Very nice. 

Welcome weekend.  Goodbye to April and on to May!

This bird was building a nest in the "O" of a store sign.

Caught her as she was taking a break.

Took some shots after work, not sure if was the heels I was wearing, my decision to use my least favorite lens (Sigma...just doesn't have the same performance as my Nikon lenses), or just my lack of being with my camera...but most of the shots I took were not very good.  However, the weather was fabulous and at least I enjoyed being outside of an hour or so!

It is a great Friday night after my beloved Spurs beat the Mavericks 94-90 in the first round of the playoffs. Series is 2-1. Thank you, Spurs! You made my night!

I went on this "outdoor space" tour today, and had the opportunity to tour one amazing house.  I loved the "sewing" room, and took this shot. This is one lucky dress!

My home internet has been down for several hours, I have been on the phone with AT&T for most of that time (who were quite nice and helpful, BTW), and I still need to do my taxes.  Can't be too serious with this posting tonight!  Never been a better time to "lighten up".

A very overcast Sunday morning in Austin as a cyclist makes his way down Loop 360 enjoying the view, I am sure. The wildflowers are really spectacular this weekend!

Stopped off in a patch of wildflowers on my way home from work and took this picture. It is going to be a really beautiful weekend in Central Texas to take wildflower pictures.
